Four YAHS alumni have been invited to perform in masterclasses at the upcoming Lyon & Healy 150th Birthday Festival, which takes place June 4–7, 2014. Playing for Marie-Pierre Langlamet on June 6 will be Madeline Blood (YAHS 2013), performing Deux Divertissements “à la Francaise” and  “à l’Espagnole”, by André Caplet; Natalie Hoffmann (YAHS 2008–09, 12), performing “Une Châtelaine en sa Tour”, by Gabriel Faure; and Katherine Siochi (YAHS 2006–08, 2010), performing “Impromptu”, by Albert Roussel. Katherine will also play Parish-Alvars’ “Introduction, Cadenza and Rondo” for Jana Bouskova on June 7. Playing in the orchestra masterclass with Sarah Bullen on June 7 will be Madeline Olson (YAHS 2008–09), performing “La Mer”, by Debussy, and Symphony Fantasique, by Berlioz. Madeline Blood will also play for Sarah Bullen, performing “Magic Fire Music”, by Wagner, and “Tzigane”, by Ravel.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
